Recommendations

One important function of the Panhellenic Club of Annapolis is to provide recommendations for young women wishing to join a NPC sorority. In order to provide this recommendation a member of a sorority must fill out a Sponsor Form available from her group. The form provides Candidate Information including: Name, Home Address, E-mail and Phone. In addition, information on the candidates’ high school, rank in class and class size, and GPA are requested. It is also important to gather information on the candidates’ family such as sorority influences and legacy information.

Finally, it is important for a group to know about a candidates’ character, interests and talents, education and scholarship, personal development, and activities and honors.

All information is provided by the candidate. Upon receiving the information, it is distributed to group members should fill out each group’s Sponsor Form. Forms are then sent to the particular sorority on the campus where the candidate will be/is attending.
